Lilacs

Last year our lilacs did not bloom, a late frost killed all the blossoms.

I missed them.

  2. These are beautiful. I love lilacs!! When we lived in southern California I missed them terribly and turned to Freesias instead. They have what they call a wild lilac that blooms down south but I don't know if it's part of the lilac family or not. And they didn't last very long. I can't wait to plant some lilacs around the new house.

  3. When we moved into this house it was November, so when everything bloomed in the spring it was quite exciting to see how many lilacs we had. I love Lilacs too.I miss having peonies I need to get a hold of some of them. hydrangeas would be nice too.

  4. yep, hydrangeas are another favorite but they don't smell, they just look pretty. With lilacs you getta two-for, fragrance and beauty.

  5. Very true. And I like lilacs and the smell, some things the smell gives me a headache, like jasmine.
